Hello and thanks for visiting The EastShore Chorale, a professional choir and a project of Eastman Community Projects (ECP).
Spring 2025 Season
We have just completed our Spring 2025 Season, with 3 concert performances and one appearance at Mr. Smalls Acoustic Cafe night. Our three concerts were held at:
Wavery Presbyterian Church, Regent Square, Pittsburgh
Calvary United Methodist Church, Northside
Kingfly Spirits, Strip District, Pittsburgh.
A notable event in 2025 was the appearance of The EastShore Chorale in a short film A Baseball Chant, a film directed by Artists John Eastman and Phil Rostek. A Baseball Chant screened at The Harris Theater Pittsburgh on June 3rd, 2025, and will be screen again in the upcoming future. The choir performed Pange lingua gloriosi – A medieval Latin hymn.
The Choir is off for the summer and will return for rehearsals in late August, early September.
2025 Fall-Winter Season
If you are interested in singing with this fun choir, reach out using our signup link here:
The choir is a great community of eclectic, passionate and friendly people (about 35 members) who come together every Friday eve when in season to rehearse, learn new voice and singling techniques, work towards our concert performances, and have fun doing so. Lead by the excellent Choir Director Ben Filippone, we strive to have each member sing better than when they joined, and participate in well performed concerts in the Pittsburgh area. Our reach as a choir is growing every year since our inception in 2018.
We appreciate your interest as a member, supporter, whether attending our concerts or offering financial support through our Donation offerings.
